Tank-A
Precious
Metal Sculptor and Fine Artist.
Tank-A was born on Sakhalin Island
(former Kabafuto, Japan). She studied Fine Art and sculpture
since childhood in a special Art School
for gifted children in Moscow. Tan-A graduated
Moscow Commercial Art College.
1980 State
Historical Museum of Russia acquired
two of her paintings for the Museum.
Wile
living in Rome in 1981 she was recognized as a
religious Artist. The Vatican Museum commissioned
to Tank-A two miniature icons and a painting.
In 1981
Tank-A moved to New York, and remained there
as an independent artist. Tank-A was commissioned
by the galleries and private collectors for oil paintings,
enormous murals, and high regalia jewelry, icons and
miniature icons on enamels by Russian and Greek Orthodox
Embassies.
In 1982
Archbishop Primate of autocephaly
Russian Orthodox church of all America
and Canada commissioned Tank-A a High
Regalia Panagiya (worn on a chest) elaborate
double sided Silver Cross 5" high" made with precious stones
cloisonné enamel, miniature icons on enamel. It was
the official gift to Patriarch Pimen, Primate
of All Russia commissioned for his visit to
United States. Presently this unique Art Piece is on display in
museum of "All Patriarch of Russia".
In 1997 Tank-A's early paintings, oil on a canvas
was acquire by "Norton and Nancy Dodge Collection"
Nonconformist Art from Soviet Union.
Presently the paintings are at Zimmerly Art
Museum, U.S.A.
In 1992 Tank-A, moved to Miami Beach, Florida for inspiration
and there she Created Imaginary Birds, philosophical
compositions created three dimensional objects of
her exquisite Fine Art Work: combination
of stained glass and steel welding.
1997.
Tank-A starting to invent totally new
approach to sculpture and jewelry as a combination
of high fashion, regalia and sculpture.
1998
Armory Art Center in Palm Beach FL.
National Wide Show "Wearable Art 98 " features
Tank-A's silver wearable objects such as: silver
bustiers with gemstones, silver corsets, rings,
necklaces and bracelets.
Since
1999, Tank-A showing her wearable
silver objects in a galleries, high fashion stores and Academy
of Art in Moscow, Paris, and New York.
In 2005
Tank-A's new collection of expression desk-top
sculpture, created of solid fine silver with precious stones. Her
works are in four museums and
